Last House Assembly
Last week was the currents House Captains last assembly. It was a lively fun assembly as always but it was also quite upsetting for us as we have grown very attached to the Blue House and have thoroughly enjoyed all the charity events, competitions and assemblies.
We are very confident that the new House Captains will be brilliant and will do their absolute best to lead Blue House to victory.

Science Week
The past few weeks have been National Science Month. We used this as a opportunity to celebrate and organise various activities to do with all three sciences.
First off was a lunch time filled with experiments in the senior chemistry lab. Mr Brown (the lab technician) was extremely helpful and helped get all the supplies ready, Romina, Sarah, Alma, Una, Amy and Nour (all students in year 11) were also very helpful and were all in charge of different experiments. This lunch time also gave some of the younger girls going into secondary schools a good idea of senior science.
The next event was a interhouse craft competition, girls throughout the school came to take part. The task was to make a thread spiral move the furthest using tape, some plasticine, a wooden skewer and an elastic band. Green house was victorious but it was still a very fun activity.

And last but by no means least was the interhouse senior science and maths quiz! Lupus did incredibly well with both teams winning in the Key stage 3 and 4 quizzes. This meant Lupus house was awarded 100 housepoints!
I'd like to say a huge well done to Alma, Elif, Gemma, Arushi and Ellie who took part in the quiz. It's also important to thank Mr Ward, Ms Rajput, Mr Jones, Mr Brown and Ms Lalova for organising these events, the year 11 students mentioned above for their contributions and for any of the girls throughout school who took part.

House points - Climate Week
Last week was 'Climate Week', a week dedicated to raising awareness about the problems facing our planet to do with climate change.
An honourable member of Lupus house (Miss Sweeney) organised various different activities everyone could take part in during lunchtime. We were told house points were on offer so of course house members gladly took part.
The activities were really fun and enjoyable for girls throughout the school, we like to thank Miss Sweeney for offering these activities and we would also like to thank all the Lupus House girls who got involved as every house point makes a difference!

Well done to everybody in Lupus who took part in the Humanities Quiz at lunch time on the 27th February, you did a fantastic job despite the Results:
We have a fantastic lead on the other houses, hopefully this will not be too much of a setback, but should encourage us to continue to earn housepoints! There are not only the Caduceus and Phoenix house charity events coming up but there is also Science Week too! Remember to collect your housepoints from your teachers and offer to do some little jobs in return for housepoints too!
Well done everyone!
